Skyscanner

Our go-to for comparing airlines and dates at a glance. Ideal when we’re open to different travel days to save money.

Google Flights

Great for tracking prices and getting a clear overview of flight options. We use it to monitor fare drops.

Aviasales

Similar to Skyscanner but occasionally finds smaller or lesser-known booking options, especially for multi-city trips.

Kiwi

Great for building custom routes that mix airlines or smaller carriers not found elsewhere.

Accommodation

A good stay can completely change how a trip feels. We usually look for places that are comfortable, well located, and reflect the character of the destination. These are the sites we use most when booking our stays.

Booking.com

Our go-to for most trips. It offers a wide range of boutique hotels, guesthouses, and apartments, often with flexible cancellation options.

Vrbo

Similar to Airbnb, great for finding private stays or entire homes, especially when we want more space and a quieter atmosphere at a great price.

Expedia

Similar to Booking.com, but we sometimes compare prices here before booking. It’s also handy if you want to bundle flights and accommodation in one place.

Tours & local experiences

We love discovering destinations through the people who live there. Booking with local guides adds perspective, authenticity, and often turns a good trip into a memorable one.

GetYourGuide

Our go-to for well-organized tours and skip-the-line activities, from day trips to cultural experiences. We have used it many times!

Viator

Similar to GetYourGuide, but we often compare both to find the best price or time slot for the best activities.

EatWith

Perfect for connecting with locals through food experiences, from home-cooked dinners to small group cooking classes.

Photography and videography

Capturing the places we visit is a big part of how we share our travels. We lean towards gear that’s lightweight, flexible, and capable of creating both stunning stills and dynamic video.

Our go-to drone for smooth, easy aerial footage on the road. We love how it lets us capture entire landscapes without hauling heavy gear.

Insta360 X5

We use it to capture full 360° shots that show the entire scene. It’s perfect for hikes, drives, or moments when we both want to be in the frame.

Sony ZV-E10

Our current video camera. It handles 4K well, autofocus is amazing, and it’s compact enough to carry on long days with a long battery.

Canon EOS R

We use this camera for photos. It’s reliable, easy to handle, and delivers beautiful image quality.
