From Valladolid, the taxi ride should take only approximately 15 minutes!

By Bus
You can also reach Cenote Saamal by bus from Valladolid, Cancun, and Merida. From the Valladolid bus terminal, take a bus towards Tinum and ask the driver to drop you off at Hacienda Selva Maya. From Cancun or Merida, take an ADO bus to Valladolid and then a local bus or taxi to the cenote.

From Valladolid, take the 180 highway towards Merida, and you will find signs directing you to Hacienda Selva Maya. Visiting Cenote Saamal comes with a small fee, money which is used to pay towards the maintenance of the cenote and the surrounding facilities. The current admission fee is 70 MXN for adults and 50 MXN for children.

You can enter cenote Saamal daily from Monday to Sunday. The opening hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Prohibited Items
To preserve the natural beauty and preserve the integrity of the cenote, certain items are not allowed, such as sunscreen or any skincare products that are not biodegradable.
