By Bus

 

For budget travellers, there are buses available from Lagos that will take you right to the beach. It’s important to check the timetable and book your ticket in advance so you don’t miss out. This usually costs around €1-3.

 

By Taxi

 

If you don’t want to wait for the bus, you can always take a taxi from Lagos. This is usually a little bit more expensive (still cheap though) than the bus but it’s more convenient and makes getting to Praia do Camilo much easier. This usually costs 6-8€.

The best months to visit Praia do Camilo are during the summer months when the weather is warm and sunny. This is usually from mid-June until late September BUT it can get very crowded in July and August.

 

If you want to avoid crowds, the best time to visit would be in early June or September.
